Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st, 2026! We will need to provide a final guest count to the Gaines Estate within 30 days of the wedding. If you do not RSVP, we will unfortunately have to assume you will be unable to attend our wonderful day.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4 pm at the grassy area behind the reception hall at the Gaines. Please arrive between 3:30-3:50 pm to enjoy the entire event! You won't want to miss it!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The Gaines Estate is a beautiful 1920's inspired wedding venue. To match the aesthetic of the venue, we’d love for our guests to join us in semi-formal attire or 'casual dressy'. Gentlemen, please wear a suit, well-tailored blazer, a button down or dress shirt with dress pants. Ladies, a midi-length, tea-length, cocktail dress or dressy separates would be ideal. Also, something to keep in mind when picking a shoe is that the ceremony will be held outside on the lawn.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our close loved ones, family, and friends on our big day. But, unfortunately due to venue restrictions and limited capacity, we ask that you do not bring a plus one unless they are specifically listed on your invitation and it has been pre-approved with the bride and groom. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love little ones, we kindly request you do not bring your babies and young children to the wedding. We hope this advance notice can give you time to prepare for arrangements to be made. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Of course you can bring a gift to the wedding! But given that we live in California, we kindly encourage you to ship larger gifts directly to our home so we have less to bring back with us after the wedding. Thank you in advance for your thoughtfulness and generosity.
