Do I need to be vaccinated to attend?

Answer

YES. This is an absolute necessity for the safety of all of our loved ones.

Question

I was so looking forward to your wedding, but I am worried it's no longer the safest choice for me/my family/my loved ones. Will you be angry if I don't make it?

Answer

Absolutely not! We are nothing but supportive and grateful to those who make the very difficult decision to celebrate with us from afar. We will find another time to celebrate with you and will be glad to have your thoughts even if you can't physically attend on our big day. We encourage all of our guests to put their own well-being and peace of mind first and foremost.

Do I have to wear a mask?

Answer

We are asking that all of our guests wear a mask for the entirety of our ceremony. Masks are optional during the reception, provided that guests are able to maintain a safe distance and are outdoors.

Will venue staff be wearing masks?

Answer

Yes. Everyone working to make our wedding a beautiful day will be fully and properly masked. This includes our photographer, make-up artist, DJ, and all catering and bar staff.

How can I get tested before the big day?

Answer

There are lots of options for quick response tests! You can buy a BinaxNOW test from your local pharmacy, which gives a result within about fifteen minutes. You can also visit https://www.testdirectly.com/patient/home to book a free appointment near you. For all of our Eugene loved ones, you can also visit https://coronavirus.uoregon.edu/map-testing . The University of Oregon is still doing Covid MAP testing for free on the UO campus. You can register for your test via the above link, or walk in-for testing. Turnaround for the UO testing is 2-4 business days so please plan ahead!
