Bridesmaid
Hi, my name is Abby! I became best friends with Kayla in middle school, so we both had the pleasure of witnessing each other’s awkward years...I think she’s stuck with me now. Kayla has always been there for my many ups and downs, to provide me with very wise wisdom and, of course, maybe some other aids. She helped me perfect the art of sneaking out and also pretty much invented my romantic life, so I am so proud to be there for hers. I cant wait to stand up next to her on her big day as she marries Kyle. She found her person and she will always have me, too! Honored to be a part of your “stone-cold pack of weirdos”.
Maid of Honor
My name is Brooke and I’m excited to be one of Kayla’s Maids of Honor. Kayla and I met back in elementary school and from that point on, I had gained a second family. Being in each others lives for close to 20 years has brought on countless memories - From Kayla writing my 4th grade boyfriend a love note and totally getting busted for it (obviously, I forgive pretty easily) to permanently referring to each other as Laverne and Shirley during one of many road trips. I’m so thankful for our friendship and to be a part of this exciting time!
Bridesmaid
My name is Jillian! Kayla and I became best friends during an activity night in middle school when we realized we might be related (my mother’s maiden name is Farrell). Whether true or not, we still claim we belong to the same family. I’m salty she’s changing her name, but Stanford is the ONLY exception. We always promised if we are thousands of miles apart, we’ll never miss a beat…and we have not. From her coming back to Pgh and introducing me to my fave, Pgh Kayla, who buys tequila shots for everyone in the bar to driving to Charlotte to see their first home and introducing me to White Claw, from which I can never truly repay them. Kayla has been by my side through a lot and I’m thankful for her! I’m excited to stand by her side while she marries her soul mate!
Bridesmaid
Hello everyone, I’m Tullia! I was thrilled when Kayla asked me to be in her wedding – I have adored her with every fiber of my being since our sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, brought us together at Virginia Tech in 2013. I may be a bit older than Kayla, but she has always been a role model to me with her ability to lead and her empathetic soul. Kayla and I were bartending together at Big Al’s, a Virginia Tech bar, when she met Kyle. Quite literally, I was there the first time they spoke! Watching their love story unfold over the last few years has been beyond beautiful. I know that their relationship and the life they build together will only continue to flourish. I love you Kayla and Kyle, and I cannot wait for January, 2021 and beyond!

Hi! Kyle's sister, Emma, here. After we finally got past all of the childhood and teenage angst, Kyle has become one of my favorite people in the whole world. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the chick he decided to bring home and eventually marry. But, let me tell you, Kayla isn't any old chick...this girl is an angel. I couldn't believe how kind, compassionate, and fun this girl was. She brought out the good in Kyle -- and in all of us, for that matter. She inspires me everyday to be more like her -- to see the good in people and in the world. Kayla, I love you more than words can say and I cannot believe I get to have someone as special as you as my sister. We have so much fun to look forward to! Can't wait for the big day and to officially welcome you into the "Stanford Squad".
