We expect the weather to be extremely pleasant. The Temperature is typically in the 70’s during the day and can drop down into the 60’s during the Evening. Bring your sunglasses, St. Petersburg is known as Sunshine City.
If you enjoy walking and are comfortable using a ride share service you do not need a car. Keep in mind on site parking is limited at most places in Downtown St. Petersburg. Most street parking is metered and has time limits. There are plenty of Lots and Garages but most are a block or more away from our destinations. We encourage you to inquire at the Hollander about the availability of their Complementary Shuttle Service. Ride shares are always a great option. If you plan on taking a trip to the Beach or doing any exploring outside of Downtown St. Petersburg, a Rental Car May be your best option. The Hollander does provide complimentary onsite parking.
Parking on site at the Museum of Fine Arts is extremely limited. Metered street parking surrounds the Museum and is generally only available for two hours. We suggest the paid lot at the St. Pete Pier (800 2nd Ave. NE) or the Sundial Parking Garage(111 2nd Ave NE).
Something fun! Right across the street is Beach Drive with dozens of shops and places to pop into for a drink. Walk over to the Pier and take the Trolley to the end, you may get to see some dolphins. At 5pm the Museum will open for the Cocktail Hour and you can tour The Galleries.
