Discover The George's enchanting haven on historic Front Street in downtown Georgetown, SC, directly overlooking Winyah Bay. The George Hotel is one of several lodging options in the area. The Frye/Nelson Wedding has put 14 rooms on a soft hold for Friday, September 26th and Saturday, September 27th. These blocked Eliza King rooms with a waterfront view are available at a discounted rate. This hotel block is a soft hold and will be released 30 days prior to the reservation. Guests must reserve the room in advance of the cutoff if they would like the opportunity to get one of the held rooms at the discounted rate. There are a limited amount of rooms and reservations will be first come, first served.

House Or Rental
There are several places to stay in Georgetown, including boutique hotels, budget motels, and quaint bed & breakfasts. Guests are welcome to room wherever they are most comfortable, whether you choose hotel, motel, AirB&B, or VRBO, it's up to you. If willing to travel a small distance to the ceremony venue, guests may also consider staying in nearby towns such as Pawley's Island. The Bride and select guests will be staying in a VRBO in Georgetown.
Flight
The nearest major airport to our venue is the Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR/KMYR). Myrtle Beach International Airport is 33.4 miles from Winyah Indigo Society Hall. The next nearest major airport is Charleston International Airport (CHS/KCHS). While there is a local airport, we suspect most folks who choose to fly will choose a commercial flight into Myrtle Beach or Charleston.
Flight
The Georgetown County Airport is publicly owned and operated by Georgetown County and oversight is provided by the Georgetown County Airport Commission. It is approximately 5 miles south of downtown Georgetown along Highway 17. This local airport is the closest airport to the venue; there are other smaller domestic airports in the surrounding area.
Train
If you'd prefer to travel by train, the Amtrak has a destination in Kingstree, SC, which is approximately 45 miles from our venue in Georgetown. There are departures from Greenville, SC and Indianapolis, IN.
Travel Note
If you'd prefer to travel by bus, the Greyhound has destinations in Myrtle Beach, Summerville, and North Charleston.
