A close, delicious restaurant near the hotel that's one of our favorites. Tasty food, and right on the river. Check out the brunch menu!
Downtown Boise
Downtown has so many great local places to enjoy a drink and eat. Some of our favorites are: White Dog Brewing, Bittercreek Alehouse, Fork, 10 Barrel Brewing, Bodovino Downtown, and The Stil Ice cream. Nightlife at Humpin' Hannah's, Cactus Bar, Spacebar, and Roddy's make for a fun time, too! Don't forget to check out Freak Alley on 8th Street!
Walk the Greenbelt
The Greenbelt has paved walking paths along the Boise River either direction! There's gorgeous river views, parks to explore, and a nature center along the path in Boise. Fishing is allowed anywhere on the river, don't forget your fishing license/day license!
Kirkham Hot Springs
A scenic drive out of town to a riverfront family friendly hot spring. Parking at the spring. Lots of soak worthy pools with various temperatures. Popular on the weekends, but still fun. Thank us later!
Rembrandt's
We love this cute little eatery that was once a church but has since been converted to a restaurant. Just a hop and a skip away from the hotel. Enjoy an evening on the patio or a yummy breakfast with a cup of coffee.
Ste. Chapelle Winery & Tasting Room
One of our favorite wineries. Request to sit upstairs if you can at St. Chapelle. Enjoy the view! PS: ask any winery you visit about the Sunnyslope Wine Trail brochure for more wineries in this area! Koenig and Zhoo Zhoo are two of our favorites!
Blue Lake
For those who would enjoy a pretty mountain day hike and don't mind a scenic drive out of town. This is where we had our first camping trip! Dallin loves fishing here and it's a great place to spend the day or for a quick overnight camping trip.
Military Reserve Trails
Hiking at Military Reserve or Table Rock are close trails and fun ways to spend an afternoon in town! Table Rock offers amazing views of the city, and Military Reserve trails offer beautiful wildflowers and views of downtown.
The Village at Meridian
Tons of shopping and great places to eat in a beautiful outdoor shopping mall area. Our favorites are catching a movie at the theater, Grimaldi's pizza, Yard House, Bodovino, and Kona Grill.
Zoo Boise
The zoo is so interactive and fun for all ages. Nearby the zoo are family friendly things to do like exploring Julia Davis Park, walking around in the Idaho botanical gardens, and checking out the discovery center. Enjoy!
