Deia is a must see town built into a mountain side along the coast. It is very small and best to have a plan when traveling here. Deia has some of the best restaurants on the island, a rocky beach, and a cute walking street with shops.
La Residencia is a beautiful hotel in Deia with multiple top rated restaurants. We ate at El Olivo and it was amazing. Reservations are needed.
Another must see if you travel to Deia and are feeling adventures! This is a restaurant/rock beach built into the mountain side. You can park in Deia and hike 30-40 minutes, or drive approximately 5-10 minutes (very small windy roads). Come here for lunch or hang for the day on the rocky beach. Cash only!
Taste Med Asian Tapas in Deia with beautiful views of the mountain side. We ate here and will absolutely come back. Reservations are needed, ask for a table outside.
Picturesque town on the way into Deia. We did our engagement photos here and loved it. Valldemossa is a beautiful Mallorcan village with amazing views and many restaurants/shops. Everything is walkable here. Great town to spend a night or two. Try a Coca de Patata at Panaderia Pasteleria Ca'n Molinas.
Soller and Port de Soller: Soller is the city center and Port de Soller is the port/beach town. There is a streetcar that runs through the city and along the boardwalk. The drive from Valldemossa-Deia-Port Soller is incredible and we highly recommend taking the longer route for the views. If you are in a rush there is also a highway from Palma.
NENI Restaurant is in Port de Soller. It has an amazing atmosphere and the best food! Make reservations.
We did not make it here, but it looks so cute and fun! If you are exploring Illetas stop here for lunch!
Beautiful town about 1 hour drive from Palma. Cala Figuera is a quaint town with so much to offer. There are plenty of surrounding beaches and towns to explore.
A rocky beach approximately 10 minutes from Santanyi and 20 minutes from Cala Figuera. We are so happy we made it here, however it was extremely crowded. The best time to go is in the morning before the crowds come. If you travel to this beach there is an option to hike through the woods to get to the beach, or walk down the paved road to a large stone stairway. Make sure on the way in or out you explore the rocky beaches by the stone stairway. We enjoyed these more than the main beach.
Another picturesque town in Mallorca! Santanyi is artsy with great shopping. They have a market on Wednesday's and Saturday's where they line the streets with stands for local vendors.
Very close to Santanyi. Cala d'Or is a lively town with a small but cute beach. There is a lot of shopping, restaurants, and people.
You're typical beach town with classic beach shops, people walking around barefoot, and lots of restaurants/bars.
We did not spend too much time here, but we loved it and will come back! Old town is really cute with tiny walking streets full of small shops with local olive oil, sausage, wines, and more. The beach is huge and walking distance from old town. There is a boardwalk with lots of bars/restaurants.
Dream hotel in Deia
A new and beautiful hotel in Mallorca. If you are looking for a hotel in the valley or on your way to Alcudia this looks amazing.
If you are looking for a high end exclusive extension of your trip in Mallorca, this may be your spot.
Extremely touristy! Night life is a younger club scene.
