There is Uber in Palma city, however this is fairly new and you may not find a ride easily. If you are unable to find a Uber, the best way to get a ride is to ask the hotel or restaurant to call you a taxi. Each city/town in Mallorca uses its own taxi service. There are typically not taxis waiting around for people, but they are available when called/scheduled. Every restaurant/hotel will happily call you a taxi to your next destination upon request.
Up to you! If you extend your travel in Mallorca, we recommend renting a car in order to explore the amazing island on your own time. Cars are very affordable to rent and highways are well maintained and easy to navigate. If your time in Mallorca is exclusive to wedding activities, a car rental is unnecessary.
Connor and I quickly learned Mallorca defaults to manual vehicles when renting cars. Luckily for us, Connor is a fearless manual driver. If you are renting a car, confirm automatic/manual.
The primary language spoken is Catalan (Spanish), however English is also widely spoken on the island.
