Matron of Honor
Anika is Olivia's sister and first best friend. Only 15 months older than Olivia, Anika is a playmate, baking companion, and trusted friend. 80% of Olivia's conversations with Anika consist of sharing recipes, but they wouldn't have it any other way. Anika is a mother of two little girls and an incredible watercolor artist and crafter (she built a dollhouse complete with furniture for her daughter). Anika & Olivia are excited to be living in the same state for the first time in 10 years!
Andrew Spencer
Best Man
Andrew is Kyle's older brother and, in many ways, has served as a role model for Kyle throughout the years. Creative, considerate, consistent, and loyal; Andrew is a leader. Kyle even followed Andrew's lead into his job at Hannaford Supermarket and his college choice of Cedarville University. Some of Kyle's favorite memories with Andrew include making the Lego City (with Tim too) while listening to Toby Mac's Diverse City album, almost walking into a Moose in Newfoundland, and throwing Andrew into Cedarville's lake during the Ohio winter - a Cedarville tradition that occurs when someone gets engaged, thanks for saying yes Kristin!
Katie Spencer

Katie is Kyle's younger sister and is a source of joy, goofiness, and deep conversation. Katie is someone who will share a deep word in one moment and later dance to funky music and rattle off a dad pun. Katie also has a deep heart for worship / ministry and, unlike Kyle and his brothers, has true musical talent. Katie is currently a rising sophomore at Grove City College in Pennsylvania. Now Katie is fulfilling Olivia's dream of having a younger sister!
Tim Spencer
Best Man
Tim is Kyle's younger brother and an integral part of Kyle's childhood. Some of Kyle's favorite memories with Tim include building shelters in the backyard and in Newfoundland, Canada, inventing games with Playmobil and Lego toys, and skiing through many many glades (the forest). Tim is someone who commits wholeheartedly to his passions and interests - whether that is his goal of being a road engineer, beating Kyle at every single video game, making pizza for every single family event, or seeing his friends/family walk into greater depth of relationship with God. Kyle had the privilege of watching Tim grow up from a fun play companion to a mature, married (shout out to Sarah) man.
Lauren Petersen
Bridesmaid
Olivia met Lauren during their freshman year at Westmont College. Since then, they traveled across Europe together, shared an apartment in Santa Barbara, and make (at least) yearly trips to visit each other. Lauren frequently calls Olivia when she's in the grocery store to ask advice about what to cook that week, and Olivia calls Lauren when she needs some advice or cheering up. Lauren's insight and care are invaluable.
Abel Ballew
Groomsman
One of Kyle's first memories of Abel is sharing a spontaneous polar plunge at Carson Beach (Boston) on New Year's Day. Abel barely knew Kyle then but was still happy to share the moment. In many ways that represents who Abel is: a deeply alive man (jumping into ice cold water definitely makes you feel more alive) who invites everyone he knows to join in. A Montana man through and through, Abel has a deep heart for the Lord, his friends/family, and penguins. Holy Buckets! Please make sure you don't ask Abel about running or coffee or you may join his cult. In all seriousness, Abel is truly a legend and Kyle has enjoyed sharing a home with Abel for the past 3+ years.
Phoebe Wicks
Bridesmaid
Olivia and Phoebe stayed in the same dorm room during a scholarship competition weekend at Westmont, and they were delighted to see each other on their dorm room floor when they moved in to Westmont the following fall. Phoebe keeps Olivia on her toes and is always ready to engage Olivia in a theological discussion. Phoebe and Olivia are either found deep in serious conversation or incoherent laughing on the floor. There is little in between.
Sam Sweetin
Groomsman
Sam is a truly remarkable man. Kyle has enjoyed many glorious adventures, random transportation related conversations, bike rides, deep conversations, and nerdy YouTube videos with Sam. One of Kyle's favorite/most poignant memory with Sam involves a week long parade across Europe which culminated with stolen passports... the night before we were scheduled to go home. Sam recently returned from two years in Asia and Kyle is very excited that this means Sam can be standing by him at his wedding!
Megan Zahnd
Bridesmaid
Olivia and Megan became fast friends during a semester spent in San Francisco. After finishing a Master's program in Belfast, Megan and her husband Jonah followed Olivia to Boston where they live only 5 minutes apart. Olivia was honored to be a bridesmaid in Megan's wedding in 2021 and has been looking forward to the day that Megan can be a bridesmaid in hers. Megan is an avid reader and frequently recommends excellent books to Olivia that she unfortunately has no time to read in law school.
Joseph Reedy
Groomsman
Kyle first met Joseph through a Boston housing forum. Joseph was asking Kyle to live with 1-2 other men (one of whom ended up being Abel) in a single (albeit large) room... While Kyle turned this offer down he didn't turn friendship down (a few months later when he actually met Joseph at church)! Joseph is a man of both intense laughter (watch out) and depth (don't ask him about the topic of suffering), he has seen it all in life and carries with himself a deep resiliency and character.
Lisa Vaughan
Bridesmaid
The woman, the myth, the legend: Lisa Vaughan. Lisa is well known for her dance moves, but Olivia knows her best for her kindness and depth. Olivia met Lisa in college and they did two off-campus programs together, and even traveled to Hawaii with Megan in March 2020. Whenever Olivia is in Santa Barbara, she meets up with Lisa for long walks on the beach.
