Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is a small regional airport 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. There is a rental car agency at the airport. Flights to SBA are sometimes on the pricier side, but the views on the descent and the old Spanish architecture make up for it.

Los Angelos International Airport

Los Angelos International Airport (LAX) is a huge airport with lots of flight options. LAX is located roughly 1.5 to 3 hours south of Santa Barbara (depending on traffic). LAX has rental car agencies. There is also a shuttle that can take you between LAX and Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara Airbus: https://www.sbairbus.com/lax-shuttle-schedule-fares/).
