Shawn is Kyle’s best friend that he has known nearly 20 years. Best friends until the end, guaranteed. Kyle met Shawn while in college. With Kyle leaving Philly after college, that just created more road trips up and down 95 to continue their fun and crazy everlasting memories. Fun fact about Shawn: he loves dining at Red Lobster

Maragaret is Michael’s best friend. He has known his matron of honor since 1999 freshman year at M.M. Washington H.S. (DC). Throughout relationships and career changes, they have always stuck together. If they’re not sharing memes, or making jokes about their favorite show (King of the Hill), they’re talking about future goals. Fun fact about Maragaret: she loves to cook.

Monte Ruffin

Best Man

Monte is Kyle’s best friend. They met in 2008, while both employed at BET. What started out as a working relationship, easily developed into a truly endearing friendship. Most of Kyle’s craziness has happened with Monte by his side. Fun fact about Monte: He loves to dance when he’s about to eat good food.

Tyesha is one of Michael’s dear friends. Another high school favorite since 2000. If there was a person that’s always there with a listening ear to keep you level headed, that’s Tyesha. Fun fact about Tyesha: she loves to travel, although she doesn’t do it nearly enough.

Fred H. Coates III

Fred is Kyle’s closest cousin. If they could be any closer, they would be brothers. Although Kyle might be the oldest, while Fred is the tallest, their bond started well beyond Kyle tying Fred’s shoes in pre-school. A bond that has always been supportive of each others future. Whether it’s zoom calls or BET awards...It’s always a great time when they’re together. Fun fact about Fred: He has lived in all regions in the USA- moved around a lot.

Stephanie is Michael’s younger sister. When she’s not advocating for our seniors, she’s creating a space in the glam world for other’s to follow her lead. Fun Fact about Stephanie: She was apart of B Simone’s beauty campaign and learned how to do makeup and hair just from watching YouTube.

John Tunstall

Groomsman

John is Michael’s younger brother. The best way to grab his attention is chipotle or anything tech related. Fun fact about John: he loves gaming and is quite good at it.

Crystal E. Harris

Crystal is Kyle’s best friend. They met in 1996, freshman year at M.L. King H.S. She quickly became near and dear to him as they walked the halls, dressed to impress and grew into adulthood together. If they’re not reminiscing about old times, they are laughing about the latest current events. Fun fact about Crystal: She loves the smell of bacon.

Social media has a way of bringing people together. Kyle met Sean in 2011. A clear voice of reason is who you could describe Sean as. Whether discussing Comic Con or turning up at brunch, always expect a good laugh. Fun Fact about Sean: he collects comic books...and it’s fun to him.

Charles "Chazz" Recktenwald

Chazz is one of Michael’s friends. They met in 2019 via social media and easily became medical industry work buddy's. You should never be surprised if their convos ends with a Golden Girls quote or reference. Fun fact about Chazz: he loves horror films.
