Flight
Roanoke Airport is an hour and a half from the Omni Homestead with car rentals available through Avis/Budget, Enterprise, National/Alamo, and Hertz/Dollar. They also offer taxicab, Uber, and Lyft services. Many flights at ROA are flown by the regional airline affiliates of American Airlines, Allegiant Air, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines.
Flight
Charlottesville is another good option if choosing to fly as they offer flights daily to and from large hub airports like Laguardia, Washington-Dulles, and Charlotte. Charlottesville is a two-hour drive to The Omni Homestead.
