Where is the wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
We will be getting married at The Haight! The Haight is located in downtown Elgin, IL. This venue is a beautiful former industrial warehouse, preserved and restored from the Elgin Storage and Transfer Company built in 1890. We fell in love with the architecture, exposed brick walls, and open-beamed ceilings. We knew it was the perfect venue for us.

What is the wedding attire?
Answer
The invite says Black-Tie (floor-length gowns or formal cocktail dresses, tuxes with black neckties or bowties), but we want you to wear what is most comfortable and authentic to you! Please wear something that you can dance in, feel good in, and feel will look great in pictures!

Is there parking at The Haight?
Answer
Yes! There are several free parking lots & street parking around the building as well as a parking garage across the street. The closest parking lot & garage are both located on the corner of Symphony Way & Douglas Ave.

Are children allowed?
Answer
We are looking forward to having our guests relax and enjoy an evening of celebration—our wedding will be an adult-only occasion. Leave the littles at home this evening. We adore them, but take this time to enjoy a night out on us!

Yes! The venue has a ramp at the front entrance, an ADA lift inside, and on the ceremony outside deck.
