Kyle and I went to Hoffman Estates High School and met junior year. We had a ton of mutual friends and for our first date went out on Valentine’s Day to Nickel City, an old fashioned video game arcade. I traveled with my group of friends (many of which are in my bridal party) to go meet Kyle at an arcade with his friends. It was a complete set up by everyone. As I walked through the front door, Kyle going absolutely wild at DDR. With his quick reflexes and stellar moves, I knew he was the one. But just to make sure, we ended the night at a movie theater to see Sherlock Holmes. The next day Kyle asked me to be his girlfriend!
We traveled to Ireland for my 29th birthday. I had a little bit of a suspicion that Kyle was going to propose, but where and how I wasn’t sure! We had arranged a whole day trip to Kilkenny, the Wicklow Mountains, and Glendalough. It was a complete surprise, but somehow Kyle managed to coordinate and hire a photographer to capture our whole proposal. Kyle proposed in the Rose Garden at the Kilkenny Castle.
