If any guests are in town in time, Hotel Lucine has a nice rooftop bar/lounge with views over the gulf. You do not need to stay at the hotel to have access to the bar.

For those that may be interested, we are planning to have a classic Galveston Trolley Bus available to shuttle between the Church and the Reception venue. Venues are only 5 minutes apart, however, if you would like to plan for this, feel free!
