Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO)

There are several non-stop flight options to Rome (FCO) from major U.S. cities including Minneapolis, Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, Chicago, New York, and Washington, D.C. From Rome, Florence is just a 2 hour 20 minute high-speed train ride or a 3-hour drive away. We’ve personally done both! The drive is easy, they drive on the same side of the road as in the U.S., and takes you through the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The train is equally simple — a hands-free, relaxing option that lets you sit back and enjoy the scenery.

Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR)

We weren’t able to find any direct flights from the U.S. to Florence Airport (FLR), but there are lots of easy, one-stop routes through major European hubs that will get you straight into Florence. Many of these flights are seasonal, starting in the spring, and they’re definitely worth looking into when planning your trip! Florence Airport is only a 15-minute drive from the venue and surrounding hotels, making it easy to get settled once you arrive.

L'Orangerie di Chase is a cozy bed and breakfast located just across the street from Villa Le Fontanelle. While it may have more of a rustic charm than some other options, it more than makes up for it with unbeatable proximity—just a quick 3-minute walk uphill to the wedding venue. Perfect for guests who want easy access and convenience.

Located just 1.5 miles from Villa Le Fontanelle, it’s about a 5-minute drive, 12-minute bike ride, or a 24-minute walk (with what appears to be a scenic walking path) to the wedding venue.
