We met while studying abroad in the Netherlands—young, adventurous, and slightly confused by Dutch bicycles. The first time we saw each other was in Berlin, where it was brutally cold (like, I was wearing 4 layers of pants and still freezing, cold). A few days later, a group message & fate led us on a day trip to Aachen, Germany—where we officially met. Between wandering old streets and laughing over bratwurst, something clicked. From there, it was 15+ countries, countless trains, street food, hostel bunk beds, and way too many missed connections (transportation and a fake Airbnb in Dublin). We traveled, laughed, got lost, and somewhere along the way, fell in love. The rest? The rest is history.
