Andrew Henken

Best Man

(From the Groom's POV) A fantastic feller who I have had the privilege of knowing many moons dating back to high school. We then ended up both going to the great college of Iowa State University where we even lived together for some time. Andrew is the type of guy that always says yes when you just want to grab a drink from some bar, or if I wanted to use his smoker to sample some delicious meats and sauces. Andrew and I share a love of PC gaming and grabbing the occasional beer at a dive bar or brewery. Story Time: While I lived in a small town in north central Iowa and Andrew was living in Des Moines, we had the opportunity to travel up north to Minneapolis to hang out with a mutual friend. I think we met up at a casino to ride the rest of the 2-ish hour drive together and from that moment until we arrived in Minneapolis, I don't think we ever listened to the radio. We talked and talked and talked the entire ride and it wasn't until we got close to our destination that Andrew realized that we had talked the entire ride and not once listened to the radio or our own thoughts. While living in small town Iowa after college, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for me to call up Andrew just to catch up and shoot the shit. Andrew has been with me through most of my life, he has stuck with me through the ups and downs of life, and I know he will continue to be one of my best friends for the rest of our lives.

Tyler (TJ) Pals

Groomsman

(From the Groom's POV) He's been my brother since day one and he'll continue to be my brother until the end. As good brothers do, he made growing up with him a classic struggle especially since he's fours years older, so I definitely had to learn to be sneaky and shifty if I wanted to claim victory over him. Those wrastlin' days are behind us and now he is someone who I can call on for advice, to shoot the shit, or even for some help on whatever I need. He may not look the part, but he's a good brother who I can count on for whatever I need. I can honestly say he's been a good role model for what a good brother, a good father, and overall, what a good person should be.

Eric Spear

Groomsman

(From the Groom's POV) What can I say about this fine tall gentleman? He's one of my oldest cohorts beginning in our youthful days when our ages only had a single digit. We went to elementary, middle, and high school together. Much like Andrew, he's had the privilege of living with me while we both attended the great college of Iowa State University. Eric has been the kind of guy where even though we don't see each other like we used to, when we do get together, the conversation and the laughter can flow like we're two old guys sippin gas station coffee.

Bryce Hoffman

Groomsman

(From the Groom's POV) Bryce, Bryce, Bryce....much like Eric, we began our friendship in life's early days where we would dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge together through the streets and alleys of Titonka. His home quickly became another one of mine throughout the years from elementary to high school. We went through all stages of growing up together and even continued our friendship into college at...Iowa State University, where we also lived together! :O Today, Bryce is one of my best friends who once lived within minutes from me before moving to live in the wild wild west of Adel, IA. Still, we do get the chance from time to time to meet up and catch up either on a golf course or on Discord.

Chris Post

Usher

(From the Groom's POV) This goofy looking, but still quite attractive young man was another person who I would dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge through the streets of Titonka with in my youthful days. Chris and I share a love of gaming and that's what has kept us so close throughout the years. Same as Bryce and Eric, we grew up and went through elementary, middle and high school together. You might also guess the next part, but he and I both attended the great college of Iowa State University, however, we never had the opportunity to live with one another. Our mutual love of gaming would keep us close throughout the decades of our friendship and will continue to keep us close for next decades to come.

Will Chipman

Usher

(From the Groom's POV) Don't be fooled by his bald head, glorious and mean looking beard, Will is a charming and adorable person. I did not grow up with Will, he joined the ranks when we started having mutual friendships (Chris Post to name one and Bryce Hoffman to name another), and I thought "Huh, this scary looking dude is quite charming". He went to a different high school, but he did go to the same great college as me, Iowa State! We did not live together but that wouldn't hold us back from becoming friends. After college, Will would go on to become a good friend where we would enjoy the outdoors on our walks and hikes together. I could then count on him joining a Discord channel with me to continue our chats, to complain to one another, and to game together.

Ashley Rohde

Matron of Honor

(From the Bride's POV) Ashley has been my friend since Kindergarten and has remained my best friend despite going to different middle schools, different high schools, different colleges and even after I moved from Buffalo Grove, Illinois to Des Moines, Iowa. I was a Maid of Honor for Ashley's wedding and Ashley has expressed that she cannot be more thrilled to return the favor! There is so much more to share about the value this amazing woman has brought to my life, but if I had to pinpoint one example of how great a friend she is, it would be when she was there for me in the hospital while we had to say our goodbyes to Mom, aka Mrs. Molloy. Mom considered Ashley as "her third daughter" and she has been a great source of comfort when I am down and missing her. I know that with all of Ashley's help, I will have the wedding my mom always pictured for me, and I am so thankful for her in this whirlwind of an emotional milestone in my life.

Kylie Pobiega

Bridesmaid

(From the Bride's POV) Kylie is one of my many cousins and despite our ten-year age gap, we have always been close. Back in 2004, 10-year-old Kristin was so excited when I was no longer the "baby" of the cousins. I felt like it was my job to keep Kylie entertained at Molloy family events so she didn't feel excluded since no one else at our gatherings was her age. Upon asking her to be in the wedding party and seeing her excitement, it made me happy knowing that despite living a state away and only seeing her a few times each year, she still thought of us as being close and always there for each other. I'm so excited to have her be a part of my special day!

Kailey (Pals) Mulder

Bridesmaid

(From the Bride's POV) Kailey is Kyle's sister and twin and even though they spend most of their time together annoying one another, they are always there for each other and their older brother TJ. From the big stuff like helping each other move, to the little stuff like keeping track of Kailey's many Amazon deliveries that got sent to our house for her wedding, they always make an effort to show up for whatever the other one needs, and I'm so thankful they've welcomed me to be a part of that. I have enjoyed building my relationship with Kailey, and the rest of Kyle's family, over the last few years. Not going to lie, Kailey works in corrections, and she grew up with two older/bigger brothers, it was very intimidating first meeting and getting to know her. But in time, I got to see her softer side and even though the Pals may not be the most sensitive of family members, once they're in your corner, you've got a rock to lean up against for a lifetime. I am so happy to have Kailey stand by my side as a way to start our new relationship as sister-in-laws!

Anaia Davison

Bridesmaid

(From the Bride's POV) I first met Anaia (pronounced Ah-nigh-ah) during my job interview at Mercy College two years ago. Once I was hired and we started working together, we quickly became friends due to our similar sense of humor and bonding over moving to Iowa from different states. Finding friends as an adult is hard, but I am so thankful for finding a friend in Anaia. She has become my work-bestie and makes the most stressful days full of humor. You know you have true friendship with a coworker when you actually hang out with them outside of work, which we've actually done despite us both liking our alone time. She's a friend who can be serious and supportive when I need to talk my feelings out, then she can cut through the emotional tension with perfectly-timed inappropriate jokes. Not to mention, she's worth her weight in gold from all her help with crafting for the wedding. I'm very excited to have her be a part of my big day!

Bennett Pals

Flower Girl

(From the Bride's POV) I was first introduced to Miss Bennett in February 2021, when Kyle wanted to drop off a Valentine's Day basket of sweet treats to her. Lock down restrictions were starting to ease up but we were still in our masks and my first impression of her, as with most toddlers when they meet a new person, was she was shy and quiet. However, once Uncle Kyle's Pro Wrestler Persona comes out, that's when the shyness gets thrown out the window and chaos ensues with their play time. I've loved learning more and more about my future niece with each visit and get together we have; from her new favorite shows and movies, to what new sport or activity she's doing, and I especially take interest in the progress she's made in her swimming as a swim instructor myself. Kyle and I are so excited she gets to be a part of this big day, and she gets to complete the trifecta of being a flower girl for both her aunts' weddings and now her uncle's wedding. We saved the best for last for you, Ben! ;)

Oliver Pals

Ring Bearer

(From the Bride's POV) Oliver, aka Ollie, aka Bubba, is both the reason why I'd love to have kids with Kyle, but also why I'd maybe be okay being kidless, if you get my meaning. We've seen his sweet and adorable side and experienced how much joy he brings to us whenever we get to babysit him and Bennett. Kyle loves reading him bedtime stories and every time we go to Costco, we need to scope out the kids books to see if there's anything Ollie or Bennet might like to add to their collection. We've also seen his rambunctious and mischievous side. Whenever we leave their house, Kyle is worn down from all the chasing and rough-housing Ollie demands Kyle to participate in. We're so happy to have him and Bennett be a part of our day and we're so excited for the future experiences and memories we'll be making with them as their aunt and uncle!
