Don't let the fancy-pants name fool you, if you're in the mood for an amazing smashburger, this is the spot Kyle cannot stop talking about. Best to get your order to go since not a lot of seating is available.

Grimaldi’s Pizzeria
Another restaurant within walking distance of the hotel that we have eaten at and recommend if you're in the mood for classic coal-brick oven pizzas.

This part of West Des Moines has fun boutiques, antique shops, a great selection of bars and restaurants, as well as one of the bride and groom's favorite stores and date night ideas: The Candle Bar.
Cooper's on 5th
Located in the quaint area of West Des Moines known as 'Valley Junction,' this was where Kyle and Kristin had their first date. If you end up eating here, you must always get the daily Eggroll du Jour speciality. Seating is limited.
