Our Story
Julia and Kyle first met in 2015 in Driver’s Ed. In 2016, they became friends in Earth & Environmental Science. So, Julia invited Kyle to her Sweet 16. He developed a crush and annoyed her in classic 16-year-old-boy fashion. After a few persistent attempts, Julia said yes to dating him, and they’ve been together ever since.
They navigated long distance while Julia attended UNCW and Kyle went to FSU. Despite the miles, they stayed committed to each other. After Julia graduated in 2021, they knew they couldn’t spend another day apart. She moved to Tallahassee so they could start building a life together.
In 2024, they bought their first home together with their two fur babies, Surf and Soko. Finally in 2025, Kyle pulled off the surprise of a lifetime. What Julia thought was a "spontaneous" trip to Destin, was actually a meticulously planned proposal. Now, surrounded by the people who have been part of their journey, they’re ready to begin their next chapter as husband and wife.
