Q+A

Question

Am I allowed a plus one?

Answer

To keep our wedding intimate, we’re not able to allow additional guests. Invitations will clearly list everyone included. Thank you for respecting our wishes as we celebrate with our closest family and friends!

Question

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! Guests may park in the designated parking area near the barn. Overnight parking is not allowed. Any vehicles left overnight will be charged $100 per vehicle. We recommend you coordinate a designated driver or uber if you plan to drink.

Question

What is the attire?

Answer

Our attire is semi-formal with an elegant, spring-time touch. Gentlemen are encouraged to wear dress pants or suit pants (jackets optional). Ladies are encouraged to wear springtime dresses in seasonal colors — longer silhouettes are preferred, though shorter dresses are welcome as well. While the venue is a barn, we kindly ask guests not to wear cowboy hats during the ceremony. Feel free to have fun and bring them out for the reception afterward!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place outdoors in front of the lake and dock—weather permitting (fingers crossed!). Cocktail hour will follow on the barn’s patio. We kindly ask that guests refrain from going inside the barn until we let you know it’s time. If you need a restroom at any point before the reception, there are two individual restrooms accessible from the outside of the barn. After cocktail hour, we’ll head inside the barn for the reception and enjoy the rest of the night together indoors!

Question

Can I take pictures with my phone/camera during the ceremony?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be a phone-free zone. We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos so everyone can be fully present in the moment with us. We’ve appointed one friend as our special content creator—they’ll be the only person permitted to use their phone during the ceremony. They’ll capture the important moments and will be happy to share the photos and videos with you afterward. Thank you for helping us keep the moment intimate and focused on what truly matters!
