FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Garden Party Semi-Formal. Weather permitting, we will be having the ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, and June in Asheville can be warm. For ladies, think medium to long sundresses and jumpsuits; feel free to have fun with florals, patterns, and colors. There may be times where you will be walking on grass or uneven ground, so keep that in mind while picking out your shoes. For men, a button down shirt with a lightweight suit or sport coat, or ditch the jacket all together. Ties are not necessary, but feel free to wear one if that is your style. We recommend a comfortable pair of dress shoes or loafers that you don't mind wearing while walking in grass.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that no children attend our wedding. We hope you understand and enjoy a night off!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to space limitations, plus ones cannot be accommodated at this time. Therefore, we ask that our guests please do not bring a plus one unless they are specifically listed on your invitation as “Guest”. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Do you have any lodging recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a block of rooms booked at The Renaissance Hotel; this is where we will be staying. There are also Airbnbs and other hotels in the area. Please see the travel page for more information.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have buses at The Renaissance hotel arriving at 3 pm and leaving at a 3:30 pm for the ceremony, as well as buses picking up at 10 pm and 11 pm to take everyone back to The Renaissance. Uber/Lyft is another option; however please note that after the reception they may be hard to find due to the location of the venue. We suggest everyone take the bus back to the hotel at the end of the night, and then Uber/Lyft to your final destination from there.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is limited parking available if you would like to drive yourself. Please see above for alternate transportation options.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

April 25, 2025

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 pm, so we recommend you arrive between 4-4:15 pm.

Question

Still have more questions?

Answer

Please feel free to reach out to Kyle or Julia if you have any further questions or concerns. :)
