Camp Kiwanilong
There's lots of fun stuff to do right at the camp! Go fishing or swimming in Long Lake, or borrow a canoe or paddleboat from the boathouse. There is a volleyball court and an open field for games. There are a number of fire pits for cooking, roasting marshmallows, and telling ghost stories. We also will be providing some campy craft activities!
Peter Iredale Shipwreck
A short hop, skip, and jump from the camp, the Peter Iredale shipwreck is an Oregon icon. Run over to the beach at Fort Stevens State Park and snap a selfie. Bring a good coat and hat--it can be cold and windy on this beach!
Flavel House Museum
Take a short drive over to Astoria and visit the Flavel House Museum. It's a great way to get a sense of what aristocratic life and technology was like in 1886.
Astoria Column
Take a short drive over to Astoria and climb the column. An iconic landmark of Astoria, this is a fun adventure of heights and vertigo with the reward of a spectacular view at the top.
