COVID-19: Is there a chance the wedding will be postponed?

Answer

Our original wedding date was planned for June 27th, 2020. Due to restrictions outlined by the Virginia Governor, we have made the decision to postpone to August 29th, 2020.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, please. But it is important to us that you are all comfortable on our special day. Typically, the temperature in Williamsburg this time of year is around or above 84 degrees. So, if those heels are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.

Will any events be held outside?

Answer

No, everything from the wedding ceremony to the reception will be held inside the (air-conditioned) venue.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

While we are not providing transportation, there are plenty of Ubers and Lyfts in the area that are familiar with the Williamsburg Winery.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking available at the Williamsburg Winery to accommodate all guests who drive.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the tab on our website titled "Travel". We have two hotels with room blocks and recommend two other hotels in the area. There are Air BnBs in the surrounding area as well as official Bed and Breakfasts in the city of Williamsburg.
