Harpers Ferry, WV is 21 miles west of Frederick, if you want history, hiking, and a quaint little town. We love bringing visitors to Harpers Ferry. Gettysburg, PA is 34 miles north of Frederick where you can visit the park and Battlefield. Washington D.C. is 50 miles south if you want to visit the museums and the city.
