If you do not have a passport, apply for one. You can do this online or go to a post office and get a form to mail in. If you already have a passport, make sure to check its expiration date! Passports that expire between October 2026 through April 2027 will need to be renewed before traveling abroad for our wedding. If it is an emergency, you can apply for an emergency passport online or in a post office, but it will cost more than a regular passport.
If you plan on traveling to the UK (England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland), be sure to complete the application online at least a week before traveling. Note: Northern Ireland counties include Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Derry, and Tyrone. Make sure to check if any of your trip is located in these counties - if so, complete the application!
When booking your flight to Ireland, we recommend using Aer Lingus if you are flying from Chicago- O'Hare due to the airfare and direct flight option. Try and talk with other family members and friends that are joining us for our wedding to make traveling in groups easier. When booking your ticket to Ireland, we ask that you make sure to book your ticket at least 2 days before the wedding on October 22, 2026, just to make sure your are well rested to come celebrate with us! Make sure to book your ticket so you are flying into DUBLIN, IRELAND.
Dublin airport offers buses to all parts of the country. Attached is the list of bus services that go to and from the airport on a daily basis- multiple times a day. This map also shows the location of the car rental. Look at Kemwel Rental Cars for deals - make sure to select the inclusive package to have all insurance coverage!
