Things to Do
The Millworks
The Millworks is an awesome brewery/restaurant in Midtown Harrisburg with local brews and good food. The location has an outdoor courtyard, rooftop biergarten, studio space for local artists, and a gallery and shop that features the works of the Millworks' artists.
Tröegs Independent Brewing
Make a stop at Troeg's Brewery to enjoy some of the classic Troeg's beers like Perpetual IPA and Nugget Nectar and also some newer rotating drafts! The taproom has some good bar style food, and is located right in Hershey near Chocolate World, Hershey Park, and more.
Hershey Gardens
The Hershey Gardens are located at the The Hershey Hotel and are a great stop in the spring! The gardens feature a breathtaking assortment of flowers and shrubs, signature trees, seasonal displays, and an indoor tropical butterfly atrium.
Hershey's Chocolate World
Hershey's Chocolate World is a fun stop that will completely immerse you in the world of chocolate. Experience the free Hershey's Chocolate Tour ride, create your own candy bar, shop for all the Hershey's candy you could imagine, and more.
Table Rock Hike
Table Rock Hike is a 4 mile out-and-back that is a part of the Appalachian trail. It has beautiful views and is only about 20 minutes from Harrisburg. Click the view button below to take you to AllTrails which can help navigate you to the trailhead.
Hawk Rock Hike
Hawk Rock hike is a 2 mile out and back that covers a section of the Appalachian trail. This is a decently challenging hike with a lot of elevation gain and is located less than 30 minutes from Harrisburg. Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center
Gettysburg is home to the historic battlefield and filled with lots of history. Stop by the National Military Park Museum or take a tour of the battlefield!
PA State Capitol Building
The Pennsylvania State Capitol building is located in downtown Harrisburg and is just stunning! Check out the building itself, step inside to see the beautiful rotunda, or take a free tour.
Tanger Outlets Hershey
The Hershey Tanger Outlets have a wide variety of stores and is where Kyle and I do most of our Black Friday shopping every year!
