Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our suggested dress code is Garden Attire. For ladies, this could mean sundresses, maxi dresses, floral prints, jumpsuits, pastels. Note the event takes place on grass so take that into account when picking shoes - highly recommend wedges, a block heel, or flats. For gentlemen, this could mean patterned shirts, suits in lighter hues, collared golf shirts. Ties are not required.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception take place in The Wakeen's backyard. Parking will be along the road. Please park on the right/passenger's side of the road and avoid parking on any grass. If you can, take advantage of the Uber vouchers and take an Uber to and from the event. This will limit parked cars and ensure safe rides home after the reception!

How do I use the Uber Voucher?

Answer

Instructions to use the voucher: Go into your Uber app > Select Account on the bottom menu > Select Wallet > Scroll down and select Add a Voucher Code > Enter the following code: riX7yDE0s9w When requesting a ride, ensure the Voucher is selected under payment method. One note: Please only add the voucher code to your Uber account if you are the one requesting the ride.

What happens if it's raining?

Answer

Our wedding will take place rain or shine! We have a tent for dinner which should keep us covered in the event of rain. However, the ceremony will be uncovered so plan to bring an umbrella, poncho, other rain gear if you would like to try and stay dry.
