Do I have to book at one of the listed hotels?
Answer
Not at all! There are many options; however, these have locked-in pricing or discounts and may suit your needs. Other good options are bnb's, historic hotels, or camping! There are more options in the Sacramento metro area, but it is a bit of a further drive.

What is the parking situation?
Answer
We are so fortunate to have so many people we love in our lives--but it can make parking difficult. The venue's parking is fairly limited so we can't have everyone driving just themselves and their significant other. We would really appreciate it if friends and family can carpool together to the venue so that we can make sure everyone can arrive on time and has a place to easily park. Even if you are not staying at the same location as another guest, ask for a ride or offer to pick someone you know up! If you would like to make some new friends, we can always do a bit of a matchmaking ride share service with other folks in attendance!

Are my children invited?
Answer
Good question. We're still figuring this out, and it may depend on head-count and case-to-case. If you would like to bring your kids, please let us know as soon as possible. Otherwise, if you need some time away from them, then this might be a great opportunity ;^)

What is the dress code?
Answer
As folks who hosted a black tie Halloween party, we love giving our friends and family any excuse to dress up! Slacks and a button up are great or if you want to come in a tux, please do! Keep in mind Nevada City will likely cool down in the evening, so you may want to consider bringing a shawl or having someone with a coat they are willing to lend. We just ask that you please refrain from wearing a white dress. For those who may be interested, the bridesmaids will be in a deep burgundy and our colors are deep fall shades with pops of yellow and orange. Groomsmen will be in tan. Feel free to wear anything befitting our favorite season! You all have great taste!

Do you have a registry?
Answer
Yes we do! If you look at the list of tabs near the top of the page, you will see one that says "Registry". However, please know that we are just excited to have you!

Should I be in the area all weekend?
Answer
Up to you! Our wedding is on Saturday, October 11th in the afternoon, and festivities will continue late into the night. Feel free to join us on Sunday for a relaxed kickback! Also, there's much to do in the area besides our wedding. Have a relaxing weekend however you wish to spend it!

Should I arrive at the venue early?
Answer
See the schedule for details on when to start arriving, please do not arrive early. We will have plenty of hands on-site to help set up, and parking is limited.

Can I bring my pet frog?
Answer
Maybe! We're a fan of any amphibious pals, but please let us know in advance so we can tell the caterer to prep some flies.
