Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes! We have reserved a hotel block for all of our out-of-town guests at the Hyatt Place at Crocker Park, Westlake. Check in for the hotel is 3 PM, however you may call to request an early check in at 12 PM. Please refer to our "Travel" tab for details on how to book!

When should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to Rocky River United Methodist Church by 3:00 PM. We will have parking in the back of the church. There will be signs directing you to the sanctuary where the ceremony will take place. We ask that everyone be mindful of arriving on time so as not to disrupt the ceremony.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour or so. Guests can head to the Westwood Country Club for cocktail hour starting at 5:30 pm. During this break you may want go back to the hotel and rest for a long evening ahead or check out our "Things to do" tab for suggestions on what to do in between the ceremony and cocktail hour!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the reception?

Answer

No - You are responsible for your transportation on this day! You can choose to drive to both locations as there is Valet parking available at Westwood Country Club. You may also choose to take a shared ride service to and from the ceremony and reception.

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by Friday, September 3rd. You can do so by clicking on the "RSVP" tab for your entire party.
