Kyle and Ariana met the Summer of 2016 during their college internship in downtown Cleveland. Smitten since day one, both recall the moment when Kyle turned around and asked Ari what department she interned in. Kyle immediately went home after work to tell his mom he met THE girl. After the first coworker Happy Hour, the two found out they had much in common, including their love of golf and cheesy one-liners and their dislike for accounting. Between Kyle and Ari meeting and the Cavs winning a championship, magic filled the air! Kyle finally mustered up the courage to ask Ari out. For their first date, he took her to dinner at Flipside followed by a double feature. They quickly realized how well their personalities complimented each other and that this could be the real deal. However, as the summer came to an end, Ari and Kyle returned to school to finish their Senior Years at college. The separation didn’t last long. They soon discovered that regardless of distance, staying friends just wasn't an option. They both professed their love for each other and have been together ever since.

If you know Kyle and Ari, on any fall day over 40 degrees they will be golfing! Since golf played an integral part of their relationship, Kyle thought the best place to ask Ariana to be his wife would be on the golf course. On a chilly, but sunny Saturday in October, Ari suggested the two of them golf while she was in town visiting from Chicago. Kyle quickly agreed, knowing that he had already booked a tee time at Ari's favorite golf course, Thunderbird Hills. Kyle recommended a scramble, knowing full well he was way toooo nervous to actually compete against Ari (4 year college golfer) because of what he planned at the end. As Kyle sunk his last putt on the 18th green, he tossed the ball to Ari to ask if he had accidentally played her golf ball. Unaware of Kyle's plan, Ari took the golf ball and noticed Kyle still down on one knee. She then read the words on the ball "Ariana will you marry me?" and saw the ring in Kyles hand. Tears filled both of their eyes and immediately Ari said YES!! The whole family witnessed the proposal from the clubhouse and surprised the couple with champagne toasts and hugs! The surprises continued as Kyle & Ari were greeted by close friends and family back at the Lavelle house. It was a truly an unforgettable day! Kyle & Ariana are very thankful for God’s perfect timing in their lives in bringing the two of them together!
