Ischia
Ischia is so special to us, as it's where we got engaged! A beautiful island off the coast of Naples, Ischia is known for being the "green" island compared to its sister, Capri. Just a quick ferry ride from the port of Naples, Ischia is great for a 3-5 day getaway.
Mallorca
One of our favorite holidays together was Mallorca, Spain. The food, the culture, the crystal clear water... what more could you ask for! We recommend renting a car for ease of getting around the island.
London
Our home away from home. September is the best time to visit London and there is always so much to do. Pop into a classic pub for fish & chips, go to a Premier League Football match, or take the train to Richmond to see where Ted Lasso was filmed!
Bologna
We recently visited Bologna and did nothing but eat for 36 hours straight. A small, beautiful city where you can't go wrong wherever you dine. Great for a 1 or 2 night stay!
San Sebastián
Calling all foodies! San Sebastian, Spain was by far our most delicious trip. In lieu of a formal meal, you'll experience informal dining by way of pintxos. Pintxos (pronounced "PEEN-chos") are small, creative snacks from Spain's Basque Country, similar to tapas, enjoyed in bars as a social experience with drinks like wine or cider, often moving from bar to bar.
Munich Oktoberfest
Sneak off to Munich, Germany for a Lederhosen & beer filled experience! Only a 1.5 hour flight from Rome. Oktoberfest 2026 runs Saturday, September 19th to Sunday, October 4th.
Amsterdam
Amsterdam is such a vibrant, beautiful city. We loved the architecture and the canals, and especially the coffee and baked goods. Visit the Anne Frank house or take a guided canal tour offering local flavors and historical insights.
Sardinia
Though we have yet to visit Sardinia, Delta is introducing direct flights between JFK and the island beginning Summer 2026!
