FAQs

Question

What is the sleeping arrangement like at the camp?

Answer

The cabins are rustic yet comfortable—and recently updated! Each cabin accommodates 10-12 people in twin-sized beds and is conveniently located near renovated bathhouses. Once we receive RSVPs, we’ll do our best to group families and friends together in shared cabins! The cabins have electricity, so you’ll be able to charge your phone, plug in a fan, etc. There’s no heat or AC, but with May’s mild nighttime temperatures, it should be just right for a cozy stay :)

Question

What is the weather like in the Blue Ridge Mountains in May?

Answer

May in the Blue Ridge Mountains is typically mild and pleasant, with daytime temperatures averaging in the high 60s to low 70s (°F) and cooler evenings in the 50s. It's a great time to be outdoors, but we'd recommend bringing layers as temperatures can fluctuate. There’s also a chance of light rain, so packing a light jacket or umbrella is a good idea!

Question

Do I need to bring sheets and/or a sleeping bag and pillow?

Answer

We will be providing sheets, a blanket and a pillow. Please feel free to bring anything additional to make your stay comfortable!

Question

Question

If I don't stay at the camp at night, am I allowed to come to the camp during the day for activities?
