What is the attire?

Answer

The attire is cocktail attire. Stilettos are not recommended, as the venue is not paved. Ladies, please refrain from wear white, beige, ivory, or cream colors.

Are children allowed?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we want you to relax and fully enjoy the celebration. We intend the ceremony and reception to be an adult-only event, and hope you can make this mom and dad's night out! Kyle and Laura's immediate family will be present at the wedding as they are part of the ceremony. Children are welcome to the rehearsal dinner (invite only), which will be a family friendly event. If you are looking for a one-night sitter for the night of the wedding or other occasions during your visit, please text and email Laura's sister, Emily Thompson, with the Nanny Poppins Agency at 843-422-5721 and emily@nannypoppinsacency.com to hire a professional sitter for the night.

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

Our goal is to keep our special day to be as intimate as possible, and we are choosing to celebrate with our closest family and friends. Due to this, we are unable to accommodate any additional guests not listed on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Where is the venue?

Answer

The venue is located mid-island, in a residential area on Dillon Road. It's easy to miss, so be sure to proceed slowly before you turn in. The long, dirt driveway will have a mailbox and small Mitchelville Place sign. There will be a sign to let you know you have arrived to the right place!

What is the venue like & what should we expect?

Answer

The venue is situated on a 4+ acre property that backs up to a salt marsh on Port Royal Sound. It is an indoor-outdoor venue, with most of the entertaining and dining space outside. There is a barn on the property where you can find a lounge area and the bar. Due to the nature of the venue, please check the weather ahead of time and plan accordingly.

Where do we park?

There is parking onsite at Mitchelville Place. The property can hold up to 75 vehicles, but carpooling is encouraged.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Yes, if you have serious allergies or dietary restrictions (e.g., peanut allergy, celiac, vegan) please let Laura know as soon as possible at 843-422-5722. Vegetarian options will be available.
