Groomsman
Devin and Rob work together at BWI Airport Fire Department. Rob started two years after Devin and they've had a unique bond since then. Between the firehouse shenanigans and the serious calls, Rob and Devin have been through some unique experiences together. Devin can always count on Rob whenever he needs anything outside of work, and he truthfully cherishes him as a good friend and is very excited to have him as a groomsman.
Jamie Decker
Bridesmaid
Jamie is Kyla's best friend and Carter's godmother! She feels more like a sister than a friend, so choosing a favorite memory with her feels impossible. The memory that stands out the most is Elijah’s first birthday party, but any memories that Kyla and Jamie make together quickly become favorites. Whenever Jamie and Kyla get together, amazing memories are made and a fun time is had. Kyla can’t wait to have her best friend standing by her side while she marries her other best friend!
Carter Edwards
Ring Bearer
Carter is our youngest baby. He has a smile that lights up the whole room, and his little giggles are contagious! A fun fact about Carter is we call him "Bear" because Eli gave him the nickname "Carter Bear" when we first brought him home from the hospital. We knew that we wanted another baby after Eli, and Carter was the perfect addition to our family. He is so deeply loved by his Mommy, Daddy, brother, and doggy, and he truly completes our family. At the time of our wedding, Carter will be 18 months old.
Elijah Edwards
Ring Bearer
Eli is our oldest baby and the best big brother ever! He has the biggest heart and never fails to make us laugh! He has the biggest personality, and is by far one of the smartest kids we've ever seen. A fun fact about Eli is he loves dinosaurs and can tell you anything you want to know about any kind of dinosaur that ever lived. He makes his Mommy and Daddy endlessly proud of him, and our lives have been better since he came! At the time of our wedding, Eli will be 3.5 years old.
Nicholas Edwards
Best Man
Nick is Devins oldest brother, they have a nine year age difference. Nick has always been a mentor and caretaker for Devin, even in the times he didn't really want to be. As Nick and Devin came into adulthood they shared an interest in Emergency Services, among many other things. Nick was Law Enforcement and Devin is with the Fire Department. They always had some interesting conversations comparing the difference between the two. Nick has always been the voice of reason and logic whenever Devin had some question for him. Nick is also a truthfully amazing uncle to Elijah and Carter, the smile that comes across Nick's face and the boys' faces when they are together is really wonderful to witness and be a part of. Devin is truly honored and excited to have Nick as his Best Man.
Coby Grimes
Groomsman
Coby and Devin have been friends since Kindergarten. They shared many common interests throughout the years, most notably was many years together in orchestra. Through many different All-county and Tri-County auditions Coby and Devin were always there to cheer each other on. They also had the privilege of living rather close to each other and many days after school were spent at the beach or just walking around the neighborhood having fun. Coby has always been a great friend and will now be a great Groomsman.
Jordan Michener
Groomsman
Jordan is one of Devin's cousins. Devin knew Jordan from when he was just a little baby and has seen him grow into an amazing adult. Jordan has always been a big part of Devins life, but lately he has blossomed and shown his immense love and care for Devin and Kyla's boys, Elijah and Carter. Jordan is truthfully an amazing Uncle for the boys and loves being around them. Jordan has gone down to Florida to live a life that will truly make him happy, but Devin and Kyla always know that he is here for our family.
Julia Michener
Flower Girl
Julia is Devin’s cousin. Kyla’s favorite memory of Julia is Thanksgiving 2019. Kyla and Devin went to New Jersey to visit Julia and her family before traveling to see Kyla’s extended family for thanksgiving. Eli was only 9 months old, but Julia loved playing with him and helping Kyla with him. It was such a wonderful trip and we all had so much fun playing with Julia!

Justin is Jordan’s twin brother and Devin’s cousin. When Devin and Justin get together, there is always a good time had.
Michaela Michener
Bridesmaid
Michaela is Devin's cousin. Kyla’s favorite memories with Michaela are the pregnancy announcement photo shoots. Michaela took Eli’s pregnancy announcement photos in the Outer Banks in 2018, and Carter’s announcement photos in Annapolis in 2020. It was so special having such important photos taken by someone as close to us as Michaela, and the trips surrounding these photo shoots were so much fun!
Samantha Michener

Sam is Devin's cousin and Elijah's godmother! Kyla’s favorite memory with Samantha is the Outer Banks trip in 2018. This trip was the first time Kyla met Sam, and Sam instantly made her feel like part of the family. From time spent on the beach, to shopping trips, to just talking on the balcony, this trip helped Kyla and Sam grow closer together, and now Kyla can’t wait to officially be as big a part of the family as Sam immediately made her feel.

Annie is Kyla's little sister. After a lifetime of creating memories together, it is hard to pick just one that stands out as a favorite, but some of Kyla’s favorite memories with Annie revolve around the family vacations that they took together. From Disney world, to Paris, to the national parks, every trip that Kyla and Annie have taken together has created some incredible memories!
Joe Niemi

Joe is a mutual friend of Kyla and Devin, Elijah's godfather...and the reason we are together! Joe and Devin went to the same public school together in Calvert County but never really knew too much of each other due to the grade level difference. Joe and Devin attended UMBC together, where they developed a friendship when Devin transferred from Towson. They had many unique experiences together, but one night in November of 2017, Joe asked Devin if he wanted to come over and hangout for a little bit. Devin was hesitant because he was tired, but he decided "why not?" Devin went over and walked into the dorm room and laid his eyes on Kyla, and instantly knew something was very special about this girl. Devin and Kyla have been inseparable since then, and it is all thanks to Joe.
Makayla Parris

Makayla and Kyla were best friends in Kindergarten. Kyla’s favorite memory with Makayla is asking her to be a bridesmaid. Kyla never imagined that her first friend in kindergarten would still be her friend all these years later, and staying close enough to Makayla to ask her to be in our wedding is so special. Makayla is, and always has been, a dear friend. Even after going separate ways for years and reconnecting in high school, their friendship has remained strong, and Kyla can’t wait to have such a loyal friend by her side on the most important day of her life!
Antonio Royster

Antonio is Michaela's boyfriend. He has come into our family and fit right in. His outgoing personality and laid back attitude has allowed him to mesh perfectly with us. Antonio and Devin have a strong friendship and have had some very funny and amazing memories together. Antonio has also taken on an Uncle role for Elijah and Carter. The boys love their Uncle Antonio so much, and he loves them. Antonio has had a huge impact on the Edwards family and will continue to be a integral member in our family. Devin is extremely excited to have Antonio as a Groomsman.
Joey Woska
Groomsman
It is hard to describe the relationship between Joey and Devin in less than 800 words. Joey was Devin's roommate when they started at Towson University together back in August of 2015. They were young freshman who were wide-eyed and excited as they walked up to their building. They made eye contact and instantly knew each other as if they had been friends for years. The amount of common interests shared from the start were astounding. They loved sports, music, and just adventuring in general. Even when Devin went to UMBC Joey was still a very close friend to Devin. Joey is now an amazing uncle to Devin and Kyla's boys and is Carter's Godfather. Joey has been an amazing friend for a long time and will be for a long time to come. Devin is honored to have him by his side on this special day.
