FAQs

The Wedding Website of Cecilia Marenick and Ky Schroeher
Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Coastal Cocktail: think light fabrics, breezy silhouettes, and polished semi-formal looks. Suits in tan, gray, or navy are welcome. Midi, maxi, or cocktail dresses are perfect. Please avoid jeans and shorts. We recommend block heels or wedges for outdoor areas. Most of the day will be outdoors, so sunnies are welcome! Kindly avoid sage green, white, and cream dresses.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If we have reserved a plus-one for you, it will be specified on your formal invitation and when you RSVP through our website. Otherwise, we would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with family and close friends. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you arrive 20-25 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure that you have time to use the restroom and walk to the ceremony location.

Question

I've never been to a gay wedding before, are they different?

Answer

We've never been to any either, so don't worry! The difference you can expect is that everyone in attendance is full of radical love and support for ours and any other same-sex marriage. We recognize that loving us individually is not the same as loving our love. If you find yourself in this boat, we fully support and encourage you sending your love virtually!

Question

What if I know I won't be able to attend?

Answer

We fully understand that you all live a full and busy life and the travel or timing may not work for everyone! The sooner you can let us know this, the better. This will help us to ensure we are meeting our venue's capacity limit. Absolutely no hard feelings from us, we would love to celebrate with you the next time we see you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, unless your children are listed on your invitation and when you RSVP, this is an adult only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Is there parking for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! The Inn has a parking lot directly in front of it. We have booked out the inn for our wedding, so there will be plenty of space.
