Kayla and Kristen met in 2019 through the Social Work program at Concordia College and have tried to see each other once or twice a year since. Kristen has been supportive of Kayla in every aspect since they became friends and welcomed Taylor into the friendship with open arms. After the three of us hung out the first time, Taylor said "wow, she might be funnier than I am." We asked Kristen to be our officiant because she is one of the funniest and most genuine people we know. Kayla has always looked up to Kristen as a role model because she is such a kind and authentic person. Kristen is a calming presence and is such a light to be around. Some of our favorite memories with Kristen are game nights in Duluth with her husband Graham, coffee shop catch-ups, and searching together for jelly cats (with Graham's approval of course).
