Travel Note
As of May 2025, all non-Thai nationals must complete a digital arrival card as part of the country's move towards a paperless immigration process. Please follow the link provided to complete your TDAC form within 3 days before your arrival date to avoid any issues.
Flight
Please arrive in Bangkok no later than November 13th. Travel time may range from 18-30 hours so you will need to depart from the US or Brazil no later than November 12th.
Travel Note
GRAB: This is Thailand's version of Uber. We recommend you download the Grab app before you arrive. There is a Grab pickup zone at the Suvarnabhumi airport. TAXI: While some cabs accept credit cards, many will refuse them so plan to have cash on hand with plenty of change. Also make sure to negotiate with the driver if you hail a taxi on the street as opposed to having your hotel arrange a ride for you. Make sure the taxi agrees to use the meter for your ride before you get in. TUK-TUK: Tuk-tuks are popular in touristy areas. Please make sure to negotiate with the driver before getting in their vehicle and assume you will be overcharged if you don't speak Thai - no way around that. PUBLIC TRANSIT: There are two major trains that run throughout Bangkok. BST (Skytrain) and MRT (underground subway). During rush hour this will be the fastest way to get around to avoid hours in traffic. Tickets can be purchased at machines or ticket booths at each station.
