There are hundreds of temples but some of the more famous are, Wat Arun (on Chao Praya River), Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha), and Wat Pra Keaw (Jade Buddha within the Grand Palace). NOTE: You will be required to cover shoulders, chest, and wear long pants/skirts. You will also be expected to take your shoes off if you wish to enter certain structures. Non-Thais will need to pay an entry fee.

ICON SIAM - Stylish mall with hundreds of high-end shops & restaurants, plus an indoor floating market. CENTRALWORLD - One of the largest lifestyle and fashion malls in Southeast Asia, offering everything from luxury brands to local designers, plus great dining and entertainment options. MBK CENTER - Massive shopping center with over 2000 shops. You can find almost anything here from electronics to fake luxury dupes. PRATUNAM MARKET - Located opposite from Platinum Mall, many food options and night market in the evenings. PLATINUM FASHION MALL - Massive shopping mall with 8+ floors, cheap clothes and accessories at wholesale prices.
Closest beach to Bangkok. Not our favorite but it is only a 2-3 hour drive or more in heavy traffic. Lots of older expats.
Waterfalls, hiking, wild elephants and other wildlife. This is the national park near to the wedding venue. There is also a small elephant conservatory near by where they occasionally host elephants from Chiang Mai.
