Meet Meagan's sister, Kristin. Not only is she Meagan's best friend, but she's the brains of the operation—an Actuary (almost) who can predict your life expectancy based on your choice of breakfast cereal. Risk-averse to the point where she checks the weather app before choosing what shoes to wear, she’s the smartest person we know and always has the perfect answer to every question. But, don’t let her serious profession fool you, she has the kindest soul. The perfect mix of wisdom and warmth. Kurtis and Meagan can’t imagine doing this without her by their sides.

Meet Nicole, Kurtis’s big sister. From their childhood days growing up just outside Portage La Prairie (where she likely mastered the art of patience with a younger Kurtis), to moving into town and living in the same apartment building, Nicole has always been by Kurtis's side—literally and figuratively. Her kindness, warmth, and genuine love for others shine through in everything she does, especially when she’s with kids. She’s the talented Photographer who has captured so many of Kurtis and Meagan’s most important moments. Kurtis and Meagan are thankful to have Nicole as part of their journey.
Justin Savoie

Justin, Meagan's brother, is the guy you call when you need help - whether you popped your front passenger tire (looking at you Kristin) or you need help with a project. You may hear a couple choice words along the way, but he's your guy. He’d give the shirt off his back to a stranger and not think twice about it. When he’s not fixing things, helping out others, he’s busy playing board games, or working on his model trains with the old farts in the model train club. Justin is an old man at heart (and hips). Justin's "Sugar" and Meagan wouldn't trade this old man for the world.

Here's Tyson, Kurtis's brother. He's got a big heart and a soft spot for animals. We don't think there's ever been a dog that has met Tyson and didn't love him. From their Dad's legendary birthday weekends at the cabin with boating and dance parties to a few (or more) Ski-shots. Tyson is the guy you bring if you want to have fun. By day, he’s a Mechanic, and let’s be real—he’s probably saved Meagan and Kurtis a small fortune in car repairs over the years. He’s basically the brother everyone wishes they had. Kurtis and Meagan are blessed to have Tyson in their lives.

Kimberly (Kim) is the big sister Meagan never had. With her quick wit, sarcastic humour, and infectious energy Kim is always the life of the party. She is the one who knows how to make everyone laugh and step outside their comfort zones. Beneath all that, Kim is a true listener, offering a thoughtful ear and big sister advice when you need it most. A loving mother to her four beautiful children, a kind-hearted and compassionate Social Worker, and now Children's Advocate - Kim has touched countless lives. Kurtis and Meagan are grateful to have Kim in their corner.
Colter McQuiston

Meet Colter, Kurtis’s longtime friend. These two go way back to high school, where they bonded over music and became friends. Colter’s not only a talented musician and former bandmate, but he’s also one of the most genuine, stand-up guys you’ll ever meet. He’s the kind of friend who would drop everything and drive all the way from Saskatchewan to help Kurtis and Meagan fix up their 100-year-old house—no complaints, no expectations, just pure loyalty. Colter is not only a millwright, but a great dad to his son, Gunnar. Kurtis and Meagan appreciate Colter more than he knows.

Melissa and Meagan have been thick as thieves since childhood, growing up living next door to each other. More like a sister than a friend, Melissa has been Meagan's partner in crime through it all. Melissa is unapologetically herself—never afraid to speak her mind and always telling it like it is. She’s also one of the most loyal friends and if you’re ever in need of a crossword answer, Melissa is your girl. With a wealth of knowledge and an entire library to back it up, she’ll have you covered in every trivia battle. Having Melissa around makes life that much better.
Marshall Sparrow

Marshall is a stand-up dude who is always down for adventure, from ice fishing, to camping. If you want to talk survivalism, Marshall is your guy. When the guys aren't galavanting around the great outdoors they can be found gaming or working on music. Bandmates from Humanesque, they both have a love, talent and appreciation for music. On top of that Marshall is a kind soul with a soft spot for animals, especially cats. You can often find Marshall with his family and going on adventures with them. Kurtis and Meagan are fortunate to have Marshall along for their adventure.
