When should I RSVP by?

Answer

July 1st, 2025. A gentle reminder will be sent out a week prior. Unfortunately, if we do not receive an RSVP in time we will regretfully have to assume you are unable to attend.

We do not have a registry. If you would like to give a gift, presentation is greatly appreciated.

While we would love to include everyone, we are having a small and intimate wedding. We ask that you stick to who is listed on your invitation.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Casual Attire Those who want to wear heels - Please keep in mind when picking footwear that a lot of the festivities will be on grass. Additionally, please check the forecast for the day and dress accordingly as all wedding festivities will be outside.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Plan to arrive between 3:30pm to 3:45pm. The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. We ask that if you arrive early please wait in the parking lot until 3:30 pm.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While we love that you want to capture our special moments, we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to allow everyone to be fully present and immersed in the experience. Our professional photographer will be capturing all the highlights, and we'll share the photos with you afterwards.

Where is the reception?

All wedding events are at Wild Skies Resort.

I have a food allergy/restriction, can I make a special request?

Is there an open bar or cash bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar available during cocktail hour and reception.

Is there parking available?

Answer

There is a free parking available for guests once you turn into the Wild Skies Resort lot. We ask that if you are driving to our Wedding and planning on leaving that night the same way that you do not consume alcohol. If you are wanting to partake in the festivities we ask that you find accommodations nearby or have a designated driver. Please see the recommended hotels question for said accommodations.

Is there transportation?

Answer

At this time, we have not made arrangements for transportation to and from Winnipeg for our guests. If there is enough interest, we will further explore this option. Please let Kurtis or Meagan know this is something you are interested in ASAP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend The Staff House B&B. There are also hotels/motels in Pinawa and Lac Du Bonnet.
