It’s happening!

From Stephanie: We met in highschool. Throughout the years we’ve had a mutual affection towards eachother, shared mutual friends and kept in touch as often as we could. Those that know us always wondered why we never really dated. Timing and circumstances were never right and we never wanted to risk ruining our friendship. Fast forward 6 years after Kurt moved to Nashville; we reconnected over a charitable cause I was working on when I called him to thank him for the generous donation. We spent the next 4 hours on the phone catching up and realizing how much we had both matured, but the values we always loved about one another remained. The next day Kurt booked a ticket to visit me in Miami and two weeks later the rest was history! We got engaged 6 months later on a 30th birthday family trip for me on the island of Martinique during a quiet walk on the beach. The engagement photos were taken with a self timer on the phone since no one was around. Kurt asked me for one more photo and on the last one he was down on one knee. It was so unexpected and so authentically him! It was the easiest YES of my life.
