We want everyone to look fly as h-e-double hockey sticks, but also be comfortable! There’s no need to rent a tux or buy a ball gown here, but we do want to see you looking your best. Please keep in mind that the ceremony will be taking place on grass, and that there will be a second line (for all you northerners, that means you’ll have to do some walking), so we hope you’ll take that into consideration when picking your shoe ware.
Don't you fret! We've already thought about you and will have transportation available for those who need assistance.
Unfortunately, transportation is only being provided for those who cant walk during the second line. All of our hotel blocks are less than half a mile from our venues, and there are about ten other hotels within the same distance. That should make walking or Ubering a breeze!
If we gave you a plus one, we’re either worried about you hitting on our single cousins, or have already taken your situation into consideration. If you didn’t receive a plus one and feel you absolutely need one, please reach out to us over a month prior to our wedding. We are happy to discuss with you on a one on one basis. However, if we haven’t ok’ed a plus one for you, it looks like your only options are our single cousins.
Unfortunately, this is a child free event. We want everyone to be able to let loose at our wedding (including the bride), and as much as we love kids (especially the bride), we find they can be a bit distracting from late night fun (including distracting to the bride who will spend all night trying to babysit).
If you really want to have a go at New Orleans, Jazz Fest starts the following weekend!
You can find everything we’re registered for, including our honeymoon fund, under the registry tab on this website! However, the majority of what we’ve registered for is at Bed Bath and Beyond, and Macy's.
