How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on this website so that you may also select your food preferences for the reception (you will also be able to tell us of any dietary restriction you may have when you RSVP).

What should I wear?

Answer

This is a formal event. No casual clothes will be permitted. Hats are welcomed. Please do not wear white. Women MUST wear heel protectors if their heels are smaller than a postage stamp. Heel protectors can be purchased from www.cleanheels.co.uk, Amazon, and or other websites.

Do I need to wear a mask?

Answer

The short answer is yes. Wrest Park staff and the wedding vendors will all be wearing masks for the guests comfort. Guests are asked to please bring a mask to wear during the ceremony.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at 12:30pm. Please arrive at 12:00pm to allow you to find your seat.

What will the weather be like?

Usually Sunny. Possible Rain. Average High: 60 Farenheit / 15 Celsius Average Low: 50 Farenheit / 10 Celsius

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If not specified on your invitation, please do not bring a guest. Only those formally invited may attend this event.

Can I bring my child?

Answer

Because Wrest Park asks that the maximum number of children attending does not exceed 10, we will not be allowing individuals to bring their children.

Is there accomidation at the venue?

No. Please see the travel page for more information regarding recommended accommodations but feel free to hotel hunt on your own as well.

Can I smoke?

Answer

Smoking is not permitted within the Mansion House. However, guests may smoke outside in the grounds.

The menu options will be provided to you in your formal invitation and you can make your selection when you RSVP on this website.

Can I take pictures/ videos and or post them on social media?

Answer

Yes of course! Though we ask guests to silence and put away their phones during the ceramony, we encourage our guests to take as many photos and videos as they wish. Please share them with us and your friends using the hashtag #KingK2020

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! After the year and a half we have all had, we have decided that an open bar is a must!

What drinks will be served?

Answer

Because Wrest Park is an English Heritage site, we are restricted on the types of beverages we can serve. Red wine can only be served when guests are seated and thus this will be provided during the reception. Products like Guiness and Coca-Cola may not be served at any point of the wedding. If you have any questions regarding drinks, please do get in contact with Luke and I. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

How can I gift into the honeymoon fund?

Currently, Luke and I have not ironed out this detail. However, if there is a method you would prefer please do let us know. Again, the greatest gift we can receive is having you with us on our special day.

Can I send wedding cards?

Answer

If you would like to send us cards, Luke and I are more than happy to recieve them. We will also have a collection box for wedding cards available to guests at Wrest Park. This shall either be located near the entrance of the venue or on the head table during the reception.

Accessibility

Answer

Wheelchair lift and ramp can be provided upon request to enable access to the house. Disability parking is available for 14 cars. Please let us know in advance if you will need a place reserved. Disabled restroom located within the Mansion House. Assistant dogs welcomed. Please let us know in advance if you intend to bring your service animal. There is a fully accessible walled garden and the grounds have footpaths to most areas. Ground outside can be uneven and stairs may be steep. Please mind your step.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Currently, there are no plans to provide transportation for guests. There will, however, be transportation provided for the wedding party. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. Please let us know in advance if you need any help sorting out transportation.

Can I throw confetti?

Answer

Currently, confetti can only be thrown for photos and only outside. Please use fresh or dried, light coloured flower petals. These may be provided for you - we are currently working out this detail.
