We met two days after Katherine moved to Utah in July of 2020. We became close friends gradually, and for a while, that’s all it was. But after about a year in October of 2021, we realized there was something more, and while we didn’t admit it right away, our connection grew. We’ve been together ever since. Over the last few years, we’ve built a quiet life in our Sugarhouse apartment with our dog, Gerty, and our gremlin cat, Mishka. We love cooking together, going camping, skiing, walking through Fairmont Park, and also lying on the couch doing absolutely nothing together. We both overdo it on charcuterie boards and would almost always rather be in the mountains. One of our favorite memories is our trip up Oregon Coast in 2022, drinking cheap gas station wine on the beach and camping in the Redwoods with Gerty. We took Highway 101 from Arcata, California to Olympic National Park, spending a slow week on the coast. That trip is where we realized we have the absolute most fun when traveling together. Since then, we’ve had so much fun adventuring through California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Florida, Paris, Barcelona, and Portugal. We can't wait to travel more! We’re excited to (try to) buy a house, slow down after this wild season, and finally be married. Thanks for being here <3
