FAQs

The Wedding Website of Kathryn Woolf and Tyler Hollister
Below you will find answers to many questions you may have about our wedding. If you have a question not addressed here, please don't hesitate to reach out to the bride or groom.
Question

Will I need to wear a mask?

Answer

We are hopeful that as warmer weather approaches and more people have access to the vaccination, guidelines on mask wearing will become more flexible. We are keeping up with the changing guidelines and will post any mask updates here as the date approaches.

Question

Will I be able to socially distance?

Answer

We are very fortunate that our venue allows us the option to spread out and have lots of fresh air. Weather permitting, the ceremony will be out on the lawn where seats can be spaced as necessary, or those who wish for extra space will have the ability to stand and still see the bride and groom. Both the cocktail hour and the reception will be held in large spaces with access to plenty of fresh air. During the reception, you will also have access to both the upstairs and downstairs of the venue, as well as outdoors to have as much space as you would like. If you wish to get a better feel of the venue and their space, please check out their website www.graverestate.com

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding is a once in a life time event. We'd love to see everyone at their finest. We ask that you dress semi-formal. Please no shorts, jeans, or baseball hats. We also ask that all shirts have a collar. For ladies, please keep in mind that the ceremony site is on grass. While you won't have to walk far, you may want to avoid stilettos as you could get stuck in the grass.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love kids! You are more than welcome to bring your children, whether they are 3 months or 17 years old. Please just let us know in advance that they are planning to attend so we can have food and maybe even some fun activities for them!

Question

Will there be cell service?

Answer

Unfortunately, most likely not. Service is very spotty out by our venue. However, this may depend on your carrier.

Question

Is the venue ADA accessible?

Answer

Yes! No worries about getting around.

Question

What's the transportation situation?

Answer

Our venue is about a 20 minute drive from the heart of Jim Thorpe. We kindly ask that all guests arrange their own transportation between their chosen hotel and the wedding venue. Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis are available in the area for those that would prefer not to drive. There is also abundant parking at the venue.
