Question

Should I book a hotel?Should I book a hotel?

Answer

No, you should not. We say this because the nearest hotel to the venue is a 30+ minute drive. Please check the travel page for our travel recommendations and guidance for figuring out your accommodations.

Question

How will we get to the reception venue? How will we get to the reception venue?

Answer

First, we recommend that you book a cabin that is within walking distance from the venue or Cindy and Shaun's cabin. There will be a shuttle service commuting between their cabin and the wedding venue to pick up and drop off guests throughout the event. Parking at their cabin is not guaranteed but limited spots are available, if you need to park at their cabin and take the shuttle in. The roads to the venue are gravel thus can be unsafe for cars to drive on so we highly recommend you utilize the shuttle service to get back and forth or make sure you are close enough to the venue to walk home.

Question

Will kids be allowed? Will kids be allowed?

Answer

No, our wedding weekend will be a kid-free event. While we adore your kids, we hope that you will utilize the time to bond with the wonderful humans we have invited and just have good 'ol fashioned adult fun in the woods of the Smoky Mountains. It's a magical place and we can't wait to share it with you!

Question

What should I wear?What should I wear?

Answer

Please reference the RSVP for the suggested dress code for each event. For reference, TN is warm-ish this time of year with occasional rain but usually at least partly sunny. Comfy shoes recommended as all events will have an outdoor element. It may get chilly at night so a jacket or sweater is advised just in case.
