Is everything happening at the same location?

Answer

Yes, Cave Lakes Canyon will be the site of the ceremony and reception. It is also the location where we will meet ROAM Adventures to go on the UTV tour.

What is the dress code?

Answer

For our wedding day please wear elevated adventure attire in earth-toned colors. Think desert neutrals, sage, rust, sand, clay, olive, and warm browns. Dress stylish, yet comfortable - we'll be celebrating outdoors after the ceremony with a UTV tour and short hike to Peek-A-Boo Canyon. Hiking shoes are strongly encouraged! The evening's can get chilly, please be prepared and bring some layers.

Can I wear a Halloween costume?

Yes! Costumes are encouraged for the after-party bonfire. Halloween is when our love story officially began, it's our favorite holiday, and we are so excited to share it with all of you!

What kind of food should I expect?

Answer

Welcome Dinner Cook Out- Kick off the weekend with a relaxed, fireside BBQ featuring pulled pork, smoked chicken, and grilled portobello sandwiches. Served alongside baked beans, creamy mac & cheese, and classic coleslaw. Come hungry and settle in — this is our casual “welcome to the desert” evening. Brunch- Ease into the wedding day with brunch boxes including mini croissants, muffins, sliced baguettes, bagels with cream cheese, prosciutto, salami, fresh fruit, nuts, yogurt, granola, and oatmeal. Perfect for mingling, sipping coffee, and fueling up before the celebration begins. Cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres- During cocktail hour, enjoy festive bites including tortilla chips with pico de gallo, guacamole, mango salsa, warm queso, and Mexican street corn cups. Dinner- Following cocktail hour, we’ll gather for a celebratory taco feast featuring shredded chicken, carne asada, and crispy potato tacos with all the fresh fixings. A vibrant Mexican salad topped with cotija cheese, tortilla strips, toasted pine nuts, and house-made cilantro dressing will be served alongside cilantro-lime rice and creamy refried beans. Beverages- Refreshing aguas frescas, horchata, and fruit-infused water will be available throughout the evening, along with margaritas, beer, and seltzers. Dessert- Churros served with vanilla ice cream — the perfect sweet ending under the desert sky.

What's the plan the day after the wedding?

Answer

We have Cave Lakes Canyon reserved from Friday, October 30th through Monday, November 2nd, and we’d love for you to make a vacation of it! You’re welcome to explore the canyon at your own pace or book an adventure with ROAM Outdoor Adventure Co., which offers guided tours directly from the property. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Grand Staircase–Escalante are all within driving distance and make for unforgettable day trips. We are so grateful you’re making the journey to celebrate with us. If you’d like to extend your stay and explore wherever your heart leads you, please do. And if you’d rather stick close and hang with us, we’ll happily put together a casual group game plan for some extra adventure and memories.

Is smoking allowed?

Cave lakes is a Non smoking property. If necessary, smoking will be allowed only on the common area grass away from any structures.

Are Pets Allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed :( But there is an animal sanctuary right down the road for anyone wanting to say hello to some furry friends!!!

What kind of activities are available in Cave Lakes Canyon?

Answer

Free activites- Hiking, campfires, sauna, paddle boards, corn hole. ROAM Tours- horseback riding through the canyon, UTV tours, jeep tours, canyoneering, & rappelling.
