Are Kids Welcome?

We kindly request that our wedding events be an adults-only celebration. Although we love your little ones, this way we can all relax and enjoy the festivities! This pertains to children of all ages including infants, toddlers, kids, and teens. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time.

What is included?

From check-in on Tuesday until farewell on Friday, food and drinks will be on us! For the guests staying at nearby hotels or Airbnb, breakfast may be included but you are welcome to join us for breakfast for all 3 days. If you plan on not joining us for breakfast at the villa, we kindly ask you to rsvp No in any sections pertaining to the breakfast accommodations.

Where will all the wedding events be held?

All events will be held on-site at Casale de Pasquinelli, in Lucca Italy. There are areas around the villa that will be set up for each event taking place. All events will be held outdoors (weather permitting).

Is there a dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We'd love to see our friends and family get fancy with us. For the Welcome Party: All White Cocktail Attire. Ladies can wear light and airy fabrics, long or short dresses, and dressy tops with dress pants. All events will be taken place on grass areas so highly recommend wedges, platforms, or thick heels. Gentlemen can wear linen or dress pants, with polo shirts or button down, boat or leather shoes. No jeans or t-shirts.

We kindly ask all guests to dress in a Garden Formal attire. Ladies we ask to dress in a balance of elegance and comfort. Floor length dresses, flowy, textures, florals, playful prints, any color (except white, ivory, and champagne). For shoes refrain from thin heels and opt for wedges or platforms as all events will be held on grass. Gentlemen we kindly as to dress in a suit or tuxedo with a dress shirt and pants with tie or bow tie and dress shoes. We can't wait to capture everlasting moments with you in your fabulous outfits!

Are there any colors we should avoid?

On the wedding day, we kindly ask the ladies to refrain from wearing colors such as white, ivory, champagne, or cream. This includes a white dress with floral color patterns.

How do I rsvp and when by?

We kindly ask for all guests to rsvp by February 1st, 2025. Click on the RSVP tab, type in your name and all the guests invited in your party will be shown. If you are unable to attend, we would appreciate you letting us know at your earliest opportunity.

We are looking forward to celebrating with you on our big day! Your presence is a gift enough, but if you're feeling particularly generous, help us make our house a home for our new beginning as newlyweds! We’ve registered at Target, Amazon, Crate & Barrel, and Macy’s for a few items we’d love to get started with on our new journey!

Travel Essentials

We reccomend purchasing an adapter for all your electronics. Search up "Italy travel plus on Amazon". Ladies that have dysons, I would bring your high school straightener or curling iron as I've heard dysons don't work even with an adapter. Comfortable shoes for your adventures around Italy (both male & female). Some cities you may visit will have steps to your destination (no elevator or car service to access the front entrance), reconsider having heavy/multiple luggage's unless you want to break a sweat. A carry on and person item is highly suggested when traveling anywhere in Italy.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

September in Italy is lovely! Average highs of 80's and average lows of 60s with very little humidity. This is the weather for Tuscany specifically but if you plan to travel up North or down South, the weather may be different.

Should I plan my trip before or after the wedding?

Answer

That's solely up to you! If you'd like to visit other parts of Italy or Europe before or after the wedding, we highly recommend taking the time to visit a few places. Now the question is, do you want to start your trip off at the wedding, take a break in between your vacation for the wedding, or end your trip with a bang at our wedding? If you are flying with friends or family, spend some time speaking with them on what an ideal trip could look like!

Do I need to attend all events for the wedding?

We planned a 3 day wedding event for us to have enough time to enjoy special moments and create unforgettable memories with our friends and family. We understand if some guests aren’t able to give their full time. If you plan to attend specific events that is fine with us! Please let us know by rsvping to each event so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be a Bridal Shower?

Yes! Krystie's Mom will be hosting a pre-wedding celebratory event where all her female friends & family can come together to celebrate the bride-to-be! We will be sending you a separate invitation with all the details as we get closer to the date. So be on the lookout for that!

When should I book my flight and confirm my sleeping arrangements?

Answer

We suggest booking your flights once you are set on your itinerary for your trip. The sooner to better as I noted 2025 will be busier than usual for the Jubilee holiday. For your sleeping arrangements, if you plan to stay at the Villa it is first come first serve or for the Hotel nearby booking opens in January 2025.
