Lincoln Park
This is where we went on our first date, where Chitalu ended his proposal scavenger hunt down on one knee, and a favorite spot frequently by us. Grab a burrito at the El Camion truck down the street (Chitalu's favorite) and hit the beach! Make sure you take a walk north to Lowman Beach Park and see if you can spot our initials carved on the biggest log on the beach. :)
Discovery Park
We've ran and walked these trails and love the spaciousness of this place. Take the path down to the water on the South trail and enjoy walking the beach, checking out the lighthouse, and on a low tide, explore the sandbars.
Rosario Beach
Check out Deception Pass and hit up Rosario Beach while you're in the area. There's a great hammock spot on the northwest bluff overlooking the water you just can't beat. Make sure you stop at Skagit's Own Fish Market in Burlington for a lobster sandwich or two on the way back to Seattle.
